  2. Just a Lucky So-and-So from South Toronto, Canada writes: Go Deepa! Hometown gurls rule!
  3. Gord Murray from Canada writes: Maybe this story is like 'mehta-tag' of Canadian film industry.
  4. persona non grata from Canada writes: This film makes a hard comment on the destructive power, social, economic, and moral, of religious fundamentalism.

It presents a lesson to religious fascists everywhere.

  5. Pretty Much from Toronto, Canada writes: 'Asked about the reception of the film when it opens there, Mehta expected no controversy. 'The political climate has changed over the last six years,' she explained, citing the secular government in power now.'

    Bravo Manmohan Singh!

    And congratz to Deepa :)

  7. sad for a reason from Canada writes: Does any one have any standards left in them????/????Does not sound like it..the Oscars are losing attraction this way...sad day for Hollywood.
