Umm... Toronto from Canada writes: I think that's hilarious :) In this game, especially, I found myslef playing the part of Dudley Do Right. "Why yes Mam, of course I risked my life to save everybody. Why no Man, of course I want nothing in return but your thanks." I have no idea why, but even after tracking down the first victim on the assasin guild's hit list I found myself standing over the quivering mess of a man, completely unwilling to off him. Instead I ran right out and shut me an Oblivion Gate, taking my frustrations out on a few extra demons along the way. I suppose it all boils down to reading too many Arthurian legends as a kid, and then at University. I've been brainwasshed to be the good guy as soon as you slap a grubby suit of armour on to my muscular, virtual, body.
Neat conversation to have with people, though. What do you experience when faced with a virtual good vs bad descision in a fantastic game like Oblivion?- Posted 15/04/07 at 11:45 AM EDT | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Dominik B from Canada writes: (Spoiler-Dark Brotherhood) Umm. Yeah I know what you mean. I had to stalk a poor and innocent beggar to his bedroll and murder him to get the audience with the Speaker. I felt weird doing that. But in the end, he was just an unfortunate bloke used as a mean to my ascencion. The first one is the tough one, then, after first blood, it is easier. I also got in the Thieves' Guild, doing their deeds while keeping my Blades facade. The Mage Guild only gets me access to better tools to do my underground work. And I am hailed as the heroe of Kvatch. What Irony. I love it.

Devil's Advocate from Canada writes: I accidentally killed a few comrades before I learned how to yield to them. But they had pretty good stuff!

Umm... Toronto from Canada writes: Okay, so the next time I play through this game I'm going bad, damn it! I can do it too. I think. I'm almost sure. I'm so going to off someone for looking at me the wrong way (IN THE GAME!). I just felt very strange writing that last sentence in light of Virginia Tech.
