If we save the forests, they'll save us
To defend against global warming, protect the world's remaining forests.
The International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) recently issued a report predicting an alarming array of impacts around the globe from climate change, including drought, floods, lower crop yields, threatened food security, wildfire, and ocean acidification. It seems no living thing in this web of life of which we are a part will be unaffected by climate change.
