India's middle class is set to bust out

India's new middle class is ambitious, dynamic and upwardly mobile. It is also relatively small. Only about 50 million Indians, or about 5 per cent of the population, have the income to afford a middle-class lifestyle. But that may be about to change - and fast. A new report by McKinsey & Co.
