Alexander Gormill from Taiwan writes: I bring tours from Asia to visit Toronto. The city tends not to leave a memorable impression.
Places like Yonge St especially slightly north of the Eaton's centre are ugly and need to be fixed up. I always try to avoid my tours seeing that area. Also, Queen Street (the beatnik looking area) Jarvis/Church St (sex district?).
As a former Torontonian, I try to feel proud showing Asian tours my former home. But I find the places to showoff limitted.- Posted 14/06/07 at 3:24 AM EDT | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Sean L. from Toronto, Canada writes: If the author is really interested in "fixing toronto" how about focusing her efforts on getting rid of Mayor Miller. That would be a great start.
