Tech crusaders are no match for mighty U.S. patent lobby
WASHINGTON A couple of Canada's tech titans - Nortel's Mike Zafirovski and Research In Motion's Jim Balsillie - have emerged as leading voices for patent law reform in the United States.
Mr. Balsillie has testified before congressional committees. Mr. Zafirovski recently lobbied top Bush administration and congressional leaders on the subject in Washington.
