  4. Joel Canada from Calgary, Canada writes: This is very interesting! I'd love to see this critter done up to full scale. Birds are dinosaurs, indeed.
  5. D. Clearwater from Lethbridge, AB, Canada writes: Hmmm... very interesting... but I wonder what the recently opened Big Valley Creation Science Museum in Alberta would have to say about this. hehe
  6. Peter Griffin from Qhahog, Canada writes: Anyone ever see the simpson episode where Lisa discovers an angel but it turns own to be a hoax to draw people to the heavenly hills mall...
  7. OK from Ontario from Toronto, Canada writes: I wonder how much of it they actually discovered. Quite often these conjectures are made from an incomplete skeleton - Boy, this looks just like a chicken leg - must be bird-like - Not saying that its the case, but it has happened. ------ Neat if its accurate.
  8. keith stringer from Cincinnati, United States writes: Other, similar-appearing fossils of big bird turned out to be fakes (those having had footprints of Ernie and Bert inserted by activists with political agendas).
  9. B T from Canada writes: OK - let's see ... 20 min a pound at 350, or 3 lbs to the hour would mean I think over 41000 days to cook.

    Assuming we used stuffing.

Oh and approximately 3000 litres of gravy.

I guess we should all start pealing the spuds.
  10. Harvey Mushman from cambridge, Canada writes: Big bird indeed...if you're an archeologist its a beautiful day in the neighbourhood.
  11. Jim Whitney from Kearney ON, Canada writes: You've got to believe that Noah's Ark is nearby. Or maybe it was killed by the 3 wise men. Boy, history is so complicated since the Creation Museum opened.
  12. john douglas from greedville, Canada writes: Lucky for that creature it was already dead when they found it.
I've heard horror stories about how animals are treated there.
HEY!!!! leave those tigers, leopards, elephants, dogs, cats and sharks alone!!
  13. Brian Martin from Georgetown, Canada writes: B.T. Very funny...I'm still laughing, but I think your gravy estimate is low. I like a lot of gravy.
  14. jiri Z from Canada writes: Look for the "Made in China" sticker on the bottom.
  15. Tom Baird from Toronto, Canada writes: Why are they refering to China as though it were one big monolith? Consider the title "China unveils big bird dinosaur" and the first sentence " China has uncovered the skeletal remains of a gigantic,...". If this discovery has been made in the US, it would say " dinosaur discovered in US" or " American paleontologists have uncovered ...".
This tendency to refer to China as a great leviathan, even in a benign story like this one, smacks of Cold War paranoia.
  16. Old Folksinger from Canada writes: It's the wrong colour - big bird was yellow. And I'll bet that it died of melamine poisoning.
