P Martin from St. John's, NL, Canada writes: I do not like TD Bank. I have a great credit rating, I have been with them for years and they would not even give me a line of credit. Which I can easily get at other banks.

Karine Private from Canada writes: I use TD line of credit instead of checking account by always keeping positive amount on it, when I need a loan I go to the credit card companies - MBNA currently lends me money for 2.9% till February 2008 and usually if I pay that loan in full by that time and then wait about a month without borrowing anything they call me back and offer another great deal. The same with other credit card companies - my FirstLine visa card (if I am not mistaken issued by CIBC) regularly sends me cheques with only 3.9% rate, which again I use extensively to cover up temporary shortage of cash.
