TORONTO — Canada's crime rate has hit its lowest point in 25 years, but violent crime is just as prevalent as ever, new Statistics Canada figures suggested Wednesday. For the ninth year in a row, Saskatchewan emerged as the most crime-riddled province in the nation, according to crime statistics for 2006.
