H Anonymous from Canada writes: It's sad to see that the G&M is so disconnected from the realities of food production in Canada to be running a story claiming that we're "right in the middle" of strawberry season in the last week of July. In Ontario, strawberry season has been effectively over for almost a month and we're back to eating product of California (I've personally switched my attention to raspberries, red currants and cherries which are all in season locally). I can't imagine that there's anywhere in Canada where there would be any but the very last of local berries available. This would have been a great, timely, article to run about a month ago.
