Going where the jobs are

With virtually no encouragement from their political leaders, roughly 370,000 people went on the road last year, migrating to other provinces in search of new opportunities. That's a record number who have packed their bags, often leaving behind family and friends. And as a landmark report this week from the Centre for the Study of Living Standards indicates, both the economy and the migrants were better off as a result.
