  2. coming up on 55 from Canada writes: I think the happy couple should start out the way that lots of young Canadian couples start their married life. Hire out the nearest Royal Canadian Legion hall, see if the Ladies Auxiliary can come up with a buffet at a reasonable price, get a DJ and have a party. As for security, I think the SGT at Arms for the Legion could probably find some member willing to sign in the Royals.
  3. Andrew Chong from Toronto, Canada writes: The headline is misleading. "Royal nuptials"? In the body of the article is the statement: "Mr. Phillips, Princess Anne's son, performs no royal duties - his mother turned down royal titles for he and his sister Zara.". While the groom may be the grandson of the Queen, he is not a royal.
  4. Barbara Potter from Canada writes: It should be "his mother turned down royal titles for him and his sister Zara" not "for he and his sister". Perhaps Royals are treated differently grammatically?
  5. Geoff Garver from Montreal, Canada writes: Did I actually read the following sentence in this Globe and Mail article? "Mr. Phillips, Princess Anne's son, performs no royal duties - his mother turned down royal titles for he and his sister Zara." Have your editors adopted a new rule of grammar?
  6. Michael Robb from Sarnia, Canada writes: They will not be getting wed in St. George's Chapel. That was rejected by Charles & Camilla when they found out that any place they were wed had to become available to the public for weddings for at least one year after. If it didn't happen for them, it won't happen for the "not-royal" Mr. Phillips and his bride.
