Muslim groups press India to expel author

CALCUTTA — Misfortune never comes alone. Over the past few weeks, the controversial Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasrin has been reminded of that age-old proverb.In the second week of August, she was physically assaulted by a Muslim religious group at the launch of a translation of one of her controversial novels in the southern Indian city of Hyderabad.
