There's at least one important word that dictionaries of North American English would do well to drop from their next editions. Not “repugnant” – an action may still be that. Not “disgusting,” “revolting,” “vile,” “sickening,” “hideous” or even “inexcusable.” But even where behaviour is all those things, it's no longer “unforgivable.”
