This evening, at the Polaris Prize concert and gala ceremony at Toronto's Phoenix Concert Theatre, 11 music journalists representing media outlets across the country will huddle to determine the top Canadian album of the year. The 10 short-listed albums were critically well-received in Canada - after all, the records were nominated by a panel of music experts across the country.
