Why liposuction victim made her fateful choice

TORONTO — Hours before she died after a liposuction procedure, Krista Stryland e-mailed a friend, explaining why she had chosen to have liposuction rather than a previously scheduled stomach operation with a leading plastic surgeon. "I have more fat than loose skin, so all of the doctors that I went to see said that a tummy tuck would be too drastic for me," wrote the 32-year-old just after midnight on Wednesday.
