  1. Trevor Armstrong from Toronto, Canada writes: "The only extender available so far for Windows Vista been the Xbox 360 game console, but it's notoriously noisy."

I almost had a heart attack when I read that. ("XBox 360 somehow adds noise to a digital signal??") Noise is a technical term that means there is signal degredation (for video signals this is often called "snow"). Please use the word "loud" in the future! ><

  2. D K from Canada writes: Have a Dlink one, works not bad. We'll see if the technology improves or just the price
  3. andy c from Canada writes: 300 for an extender? your better off getting a used computer or putting one together from spare parts, connecting it to your network to bridge the gap that way. i realise that you need at least a basic understanding of computers but at least you will have a lot more functionality. only compatible with vista? so if you dont have vista already you'll have to shell out an additional $150 to install vista ontop of the price of the extender plus any hardware upgrade your computer may need just to run vista smoothly (ram, cpu)
  4. Marcus Leja from Calgary, Canada writes: Heck, you're better off purchasing a used laptop and a long VGA cable. At least then you have a laptop which can also be used for other tasks.

$300 is way too much for such a simple appliance.
