Brett Tremblay from Canada writes: Is McGuinty's lack of specifics here as damning as Tory's lack of specifics on schools? They both promise further study (and Tory had outlined further study on the schools issue in the party platform even before today's announcement of a free vote), plus both involve significant amounts of money diverted from already strained pools. If we need Tory to be more specific before we can give him the benefit of the doubt that his schools proposal is workable, should we not make McG prove that he's actually going to do more on poverty than say nice things before we even consider trusting him?
