MMP wins ‘representative' test but fails on accountability and stability

Some highly intelligent people with long experience in politics favour changing Ontario's electoral system. They, and the diligent citizens who laboured on a constituent assembly, advocate replacing the existing first-past-the-post system with something called mixed-member proportional, a variant of proportional representation. When experienced people and dedicated citizens combine to support a change, it merits a serious look before next week's provincial vote.
