Coderre lands in Kandahar Sunday

TORONTO — Liberal Defence critic Denis Coderre is in Pakistan, preparing to take a United Nations flight to Kandahar on Sunday — the sixth anniversary of the U.S.-led bombing of Afghanistan. The Montreal MP said the Afghan mission is a major priority for Canadians and that he's doing his duty by going there, even though the trip doesn't have the approval of the Harper government.
