First-past-the-post is still a winning formula
Although it's attracted relatively little attention in the recent Ontario election campaign, by far the most important question voters will decide tomorrow is whether to change fundamentally the way governments are elected in the province. Governments come and go, but the proposal to replace the existing voting system with a mixed-member proportional system would be a potentially permanent change in the way governments are elected in Ontario.
