  1. D K from Canada writes: Enjoy your McGuinty health tax increase Ontario. You voted for it. Maybe he will disguise it as an 'Education levy'. After all, he has to pay all those teachers that took time off work to campaign for him.
  2. Logic is full of Epic Win from Canada writes: @ D K - no increase, the health tax has already been in effect for over 3 years.

Is this similar to Harper's personal tax cut that was an increase? Remember, Federal Liberals had set the personal income tax rate to 15%, down from 16%. Federal Conservatives cancelled that cut, restoring it to 16% and then introduced their "new" cut down to 15.5%. Which is a tax increase because the 15% had been in effect for a few months of the year already.

So for clarity D K, there is no tax increase currently in Ontario, it is the same as it was pre-election.
  3. Michael Enright from Toronto, Canada writes: Watch out Ontario, if you believe the editorial in today's Toronto Star (which many liberals believe is the holy truth), the liberals have carte blanche now to tackle all the left-wingers wet dreams.
  4. ken g from mississauga, writes: Does anyone know what secret pack David Miller made with the Provincial Liberals? It is unusual for Miller with so many financial problems to stay silent through an election campaign. Typically they are vocal on the party that would provide the best deal for Toronto.
  5. Keith Conley from CalgaryCalgary, Canada writes: This write up seems to say that MxQuinty is a conciliatory problem solver.
Can someone tell me what happened with the standoff in Caledonia, and why were the Natives backed by the premier, and the white people were the villains. Seems to me the Natives created Mayhem and even injured a home builder, and that is okay in McQuinty's eyes, but as for the ordinary law abiding citizen, he does not have the time of day to deal with the wrongs that were accorded them
