You've read about the universities...

Globe and Mail Update

The University Report Card has partnered with a dynamic new company run by three recent university graduates to bring you exclusive video tours of Canada's top 20 campuses.

You're already discovering here how the undergrads in the Report Card grade their schools. And starting today, you can also watch high-quality video of what life looks like on campus. The video footage, featuring campus scenes and interviews with current undergrads, provides university applicants with another outstanding resource as they search for the school that's right for them.

The 20 campus video tours are the work of UTours, a new Canadian business founded by three brothers, Sean, Josh and David Diamond.

"I think the best part about our videos is that it's from the students. They're in their own environment and they speak openly about their university, and that's never been done," says Sean, who along with David graduated from Queen's University. Brother Josh recently got his degree from McGill.

UTours has spent months on all 20 campuses shooting 15-minute movies about each school, using local film students as part of their videography teams. They have assembled the tours into a DVD and on-line streaming video, and partnered with the University Report Card to bring our readers exclusive previews of each tour.

"It's really cool to look back and think about all the people that helped make this video and how it all developed," Sean adds. "When we started out it was me and my brother (David) in our parents' basement and now when I when I think about how many people contributed to it, it's amazing. Literally thousands of students and professionals along side some of this country's best corporations."
