Mia,

Thanks. After several years of dealing with organizations who, despite initial successes, had been schooled by society to stick with marketing/advertising alone, I decided to slot them into the occasional workshops I teach. (Or add them to blog articles.)
.
For my bottom line, I needed to focus on organizations that already understand public relations and publicity. I must say, this decision "stood me in good stead".

Thanks again.- Posted 21/05/08 at 4:47 AM EDT | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

daniel saliken from Canada writes: These are really good articles. Well written and informative. The G&M does a good job with their small business section....with one exception...the podcasts don't seem very good quality in content. Its ironic because the business owners in those podcasts should read this article which has great tips on how to do media interviews. The podcasts seem like a good "how not to" example of PR from what I can see in this article. I am very impressed with Mia though.
