Man dies trying to save Canadian novelist Maureen Jennings

COCOA BEACH, Fla. — Canadian mystery novelist Maureen Jennings says she's in “delayed shock” one day after being rescued from powerful Florida currents by a stranger who died during the rescue effort. Although still shaken, the Toronto writer says from a beach resort at Cocoa Beach that she's full of admiration for the bravery of two Good Samaritans who rushed to her aid.
