Man dies trying to save Canadian novelist Maureen Jennings
COCOA BEACH, Fla. Canadian mystery novelist Maureen Jennings says she's in “delayed shock” one day after being rescued from powerful Florida currents by a stranger who died during the rescue effort.
Although still shaken, the Toronto writer says from a beach resort at Cocoa Beach that she's full of admiration for the bravery of two Good Samaritans who rushed to her aid.
