U.S. cities are back: Take a stroll in downtown Washington
Last weekend was particularly beautiful. This unusually hot October finally began to cool, purging the humidity from the air and turning the sky a royal blue.In Capitol Hill, a comfortable neighbourhood of Edwardian row houses shaded by ancient trees, people raked leaves, went to church, jogged and biked, and strolled down to Eastern Market to pick up a roast for supper. This is cause for celebration.
