Charest calls for premiers meeting on loonie
Quebec Premier Jean Charest is calling on Ottawa to hold a first ministers conference on the economy as soon as possible to deal with the dramatic rise of the Canadian dollar.
“I think it's urgent,” Mr. Charest said in the National Assembly. “We need to meet the Canadian Prime Minister as soon as possible.
