So said, allegedly, Ignatius Loyola, founder of the Jesuit order.But the truth of the old dictum apparently applies to non-Catholics as well. For evidence, I give you American writer Shalom Auslander, raised from infancy in the sometimes claustrophobic universe of Orthodox Judaism.
Auslander has done his best to rid himself of what he sees as a crippling legacy.
