RIM execs to sell, donate millions in stock

The two co-chief executives of wildly successful technology company Research In Motion Ltd. are selling a chunk of their shares and donating as much as $113-million of the BlackBerry maker's stock to charitable and educational purposes.
Jim Balsillie plans to give $38-million of RIM common shares “to certain charitable organizations and educational or research institutions,” the Waterloo, Ont.-based company said Friday.
