Mounties use taser to subdue man in Kelowna
KELOWNA, B.C. — Kelowna RCMP used a taser in a Wal-Mart parking lot to subdue a man Wednesday evening.
At 7:45 p.m., RCMP went to the parking lot to check on a person who they were told was very agitated, had been using drugs and could possibly be suffering from mental illness.
Police learned the man was inside a travel trailer, and a friend was concerned for his health.
