  2. MJ Patchouli from Regina, Canada writes: Years ago -- like in the late Sixties -- my mum bought a cheap old album out of a big bin -- I don't recall if it was a compilation or if it was a Mills Brothers album, but it had a Christmas song by them that was so catchy, I can still hear it in my head. If anyone out there actually has a copy I could buy, or upload onto a website where I could get it, I would love to give it to my mother for Christmas because she loved it so much -- and the album was destroyed with others in a flood back in the seventies.

Twas the night before Christmas and Santa is near
All the children to dreamland will soon disappear
But there's one little darlin' who won't close her eyes

    Chorus:
Sing ting a ling a jingle and hold me so tight
Sing ting a ling a jingle and kiss me goodnight
Icicles on the window and snow on the ground
Sing ting a ling a jingle 'til Santa comes round...

Thanks and Merry Christmas (happy holidays; festive solstice, whatever floats your boat)...

And then I found the album online.

    Cool!
