Justice will be done in taser death, Quebec tells Italy's envoy

QUEBEC — The Quebec government this week reassured Italian authorities that the Quebec justice system is "honest, reliable and efficient," but warned that it could take a long time to get to the bottom of the mysterious death of one of Italy's citizens, Claudio Castagnetta. Mr. Castagnetta died while in custody in September after having been tasered by Quebec City police and jailed without receiving medical care.
