  1. wawa dave from Trinodado, Canada writes: I have been following this since i first saw it on slash/dot. And saw how MS backed out because there was no prophit in it. And have seen many linux forum and news letters mentioning this laptop. I really hope it get a good chance to do the work it was ment to do. Would be nice if they checked out Gutenberg project for 10,000,s free ebooks. And had a way of offering these to any that could use them with these laptops.

    The next time I buy/recommend a computer, it will not have the Intel chipset.

    And what's this about "...lack of the Windows operating system, still being tested for the XO, have dissuaded many potential government buyers."???? Is there some Microsoft "marketing" going on here?
