I'm still not entirely sure if it was a robot I was speaking with the other day. I was sitting in an airport concourse, trying to bludgeon through a couple of hours while I waited to escape. Toronto's Pearson, like many other airports, sells wireless Internet access through a provider named Boingo. I was in the middle of telling Boingo exactly how to take my money, when a little box popped up in the middle of the screen. It looked like a chat window.
