Charest, McGuinty to push PM on economy

The premiers of Canada's two largest provinces will meet in Ottawa Thursday to develop a common front aimed at pressing Prime Minister Stephen Harper for help in dealing with turbulence facing the Canadian economy. The meeting between Ontario's Dalton McGuinty and Quebec's Jean Charest comes a day before the full roster of Canada's premiers and territorial leaders meets with Mr. Harper at his Ottawa home to discuss increasing anxiety over the economy and the high Canadian dollar.
