Bush: World must confront Iran

ABU DHABI — U.S. President George W. Bush accused Iran today of threatening security around the world by backing militants and urged his Gulf Arab allies to confront "this danger before it is too late.” Iran immediately said it rejected such efforts to isolate Tehran from its Gulf neighbours, adding that "such policies of fooling the people in the region" had already fallen flat.
