Nurun bid a fresh headache for Quebecor

As if Pierre Karl Péladeau doesn't have enough to worry about, now someone is trying to muscle in on one of his media deals. WPP Group PLC, the London-based marketing and communications giant, has made a takeover approach for Nurun Inc., a Montreal-based new-media services company that is controlled by Mr. Péladeau's Quebecor Media Inc., sources say. Quebecor Media has been trying for months to privatize Nurun and last month offered $4.
