Broken Record from Victoria, B.C., Canada writes: Good ol' Transport Canada, always on the lookout to protect the domestic auto industry's hegemony over how Canadians get around and to protect us from making our own choices. Electric scooters and motorcycles are a threat to the established order and are thus regulated virtually out of existence. The rest of the world must be hell on earth without TC's benevolent, all-knowing care. Decades ahead of us mind you, but Canadians are happier without all those choices and the stress that can cause.
