Dick Garneau from Canada writes: Some North American executives must be nervous, having shipped their computing services to India. Trans Atlantic cables are easy targets for terrorist and natural phenomena. Satellite likely can't handle the traffic plus the delay in transmission..

doctor business from vancouver, Canada writes: how were these cables cut I would like to know. By not explaining, we have to presume natural phenomenon. I imagine it would be pretty difficult to intentionally cut (except near shore) because it is so deep.
