Shaw to boycott CTF hearings
Jim Shaw, the head of Canada's second-biggest cable distributor, is planning to defy the federal broadcast regulator Monday as he ratchets up his company's fight against the embattled $287-million Canadian Television Fund.
The chief executive officer of
Shaw Communications Inc. says he will boycott week-long federal hearings slated to begin Monday into concerns he raised last year about how the fund spends its money.
