Jonathan Cooper from Toronto, Canada writes: Vulgar and overdone is exactly how this looks from the outside. While it looks as if some attention was paid to proportionality of windows and doors, the house itself is a large box with a bay window. It is an American suburban take on French architecture and looks completely out of place in a neighbourhood filled with red-brick Victorian homes. For $5 million one could probably purchase a real French chateau in the Loire valley, not this imitation McMansion.

Jean Malice from Calgary, Canada writes: For once I found the interior effectively mimicking a classic parisian small hotel particulier. Once may like or dislike the style but overall it is well done, including the cramped kitchen space...
I agree with the previous poster regarding the exterior of the home. The overhanging electrical wires are things of the past in Paris... but not in mighty Canada LOL. And the proportion of the home, -the windows, the bare entrance, look more like cookie cutter suburban pink mushroom than refined French esthetics.- Posted 10/02/08 at 1:12 PM EDT | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment
