Albin Forone from Toronto, Canada writes: Certainly agree with the Critique of doing any exercise seven days a week, and feel more than sad for anyone who watches daytime TV shows instead of enhancing the mind / spirit / pulse relationship with good music. I've learned elsewhere that the stress of aerobic running or climbing impact can be good for joint strength and avoid joint deterioration, so that low-impact cardio like elliptical is not a substitute, but I would want to see proof that a hard elliptical workout doesn't beat "walking" or cycling, or even machine stair stepping (as opposed to real staircase running) for benefits.
  2. Lawrence Hutchinson from United States writes: People often say they avoid wieght-lifting so they won't get too muscule-bound- as if the muscle just drops on in no time. It takes a concerted effort at tryiing to add muscle mass to really add muscle mass! (if only it were as easy as many people think!)
