Sue City from Canada writes: I would break away from e-Bay. As a charitable vehicle, Gold's auction business has its own highly marketable niche. Also, the reputation of e-Bay sellers and the quality of the items they sell is precarious at best. Why associate a legitimate auction house with e-Bay and its sometimes shifty sellers?

Mike from Van from Vancouver, Canada writes: ebay's "incredibly fast growth?" Maybe a few years ago, but a short time ago the Globe ran an article about their "flat growth," and how ebay were changing their pricing policies to try and drum up new business. Unfortunately, lowering listing fees raising final value fees = higher overall fees. I wonder how many ebay users were fooled by their strategy. As a former regular buyer and seller, I now regard ebay as something of a joke.
