Country's varied green laws could hurt investment, Flaherty says

VANCOUVER — Federal Finance Minister Jim Flaherty says varied environmental laws across Canada could hurt the country's appeal to international investors.Mr. Flaherty said yesterday there will have to be some form of "convergence" of laws, but offered no details on how this might happen.
