Rolloff deBunk from Calgary - Centre of American wannabe's, Canada writes: Who cares about the whiner? His show was only funny beacuse of his ensemble, he was a dud and any return to tv will only serve to confirm that!

K Ordos from Canada writes: Once around was enough from Jerry Seinfeld. I really don't see his appeal. His act consists of whining and moaning about everything. As Russell Peters would say: "Be a man!"

this is just my opinion from Toronto, Canada writes: While I agree that once around was enough for Jerry Seinfeld, it should be noted that Seinfeld and Larry David created the show to intentionally highlight the comic possibilities of a group of narcissistic whiners who dodged their own responsibilities while finding fault with everyone else's behaviour. The creators' disdain for their characters' behaviour moved them to end the series with all their main characters in jail. It would be a mistake to assume that Jerry Seinfeld is exactly the same person he played in the show.

On the other hand, absolutely nothing I have seen from him in interviews, articles or live performances gives me any other impression.- Posted 07/03/08 at 2:03 PM EDT | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Arthur Meighen from Death Valley, Canada writes: I guess this time it would have to be a show about something.
A show about nothing was funny, but (unfortunately) this ain't the '90s.- Posted 07/03/08 at 2:04 PM EDT | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

B T from Canada writes: would beat all the crap on TV now (excpept for Curb, of course). And you gotta love all the commentators hating Seinfeld because of the characters he plays on TV and stage!

David Harrison from Canada writes: When an NBC spokesperson says "there's nothing to it" in reference to a possible Seinfeld series, it's hard to take that as a conclusive denial. The in-joke is just too obvious to be accidental.

Dear Johnson from United States writes: You are the real whiners.
If you don't want to watch Jerry Seinfeld, then go ahead and watch something else.
But there's a reason his sitcom was one of the top rated shows back in its hay day.- Posted 07/03/08 at 5:01 PM EDT | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Rolloff deBunk from Calgary - Centre of American wannabe's, Canada writes: If you read my earlier post, the show was great was because of the writing, his ensemble - George and his parents, Kramer, Elaine etc. He was the weakest link and I, for one, and others too it seems, am glad he's not on air.

Anon -East Coast from Canada writes: Shows you what kind of people post here. According to this sample almost EVERYONE, anywhere, hates Seinfeld. Ratings sure begged to differ.
I loved it, but since half the premises ran on not having cell phones, it wouldn't work today.- Posted 07/03/08 at 11:00 PM EDT | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Chuck the Canuk from snowville, Canada writes: THANK YOU!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! Him and his whining co stars were a bunch of losers (with the exception of Kramer). After trying to watch his drivvle several times over the years, I came to a conclusion. Just because the silly cable or network execs dole out millions to mediocre talents, in the end, they are still mediocre talent at best. Another show with him would just be a huge waste of advertisers money. I wouldn't watch anything that idiot was in.

Aislinn Rose from Toronto, Canada writes: Let me guess... the majority of these posters (the anti-Seinfeld-ites) are/were all fans of Friends. It saddens me to think that G&M readers have such bad taste.
