Sean B from Toronto, Canada writes: Now I have no desire to own an Edge. I like small cars. But I'm surprised you guys failed to mention the fact that the Edge is based on the same excellent Ford CD3 platform as the Mazda CX-9 (can't even count the number of awards this thing has won). I currently drive a Mazda3 and owned two Toyota's before that. The Mazda3 of course is based off the Ford C1 platform and has excellent handling, great suspension systems and a ridged chassis. My experience with this car has opened my eyes to the possibilities of purchasing a Ford in the future. I'm really looking forward to taking the Ford Fiesta for a drive. So I think it is possible for owners of imports to consider a Ford - that is if they get their cars 'right' :-)
