  1. A Smith from toronto, Canada writes: Vancouver specials are a blight on that city. Generally finsished with pepto-bysmol pink stucco, they feature squat, low-ish ceilings, mould, and a singular lack of charm.

    That said, I am puzzled by the interior reno job, which also lacks charm. It has the just slightly cheesy look of a high end hotel. At that price, I would want something special.
