The latest revelation from the pretrial hearings on Omar Khadr, a suspected Canadian terrorist jailed six years at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, points to an abuse of power by United States authorities, and an abuse of Canada's trust. That Canada was prepared to trust, despite the long absence of due process for Mr. Khadr, is evidence of either shocking naiveté or willful blindness, given the way the U.S.
