Greens rejoice in neck-and-neck fights with NDP, Tories
OTTAWA — The upstart Green party enjoyed some of the best performances in its history Monday, finding itself neck-and-neck with the NDP in three of four by-elections.
The Greens appeared to be narrowly ahead of the NDP in one Toronto riding, in a dead heat in another, and one percentage point behind in Vancouver Quadra.
