Read any good video games lately? Not all that long ago, the printed word and electronic games were often placed at opposite ends of the arts and entertainment spectrum, regardless of how its axis was defined (highbrow to lowbrow, mainstream to underground, Ulysses to Happy Days). Now it seems that spectrum is being mashed together, with everything rolled into a digital snowball and thrown at variously sized screens.
